Dr. Andre Clayborne

For the past 30 years, Dr. Andre Clayborne has provided services to adults, adolescents, children, families, and businesses in Sioux Falls, South Dakota and surrounding areas. Dr. Clayborne has completed over 300 child custody, child placement, and visitation evaluations in his career. He works closely with the court system and has offered expert testimony on numerous issues involving mental health, parent fitness, and child placement issues.
Dr. Clayborne is a Nationally Certified Parent Coordinator and Nationally Certified Custody Evaluator. He has given expert testimony in child placement cases where abuse and neglect were of issue. Dr. Clayborne has taught parent education in classrooms as well as in small groups. He has provided presentations on a number of issues related to individuals, families, and businesses in conflict. Dr. Clayborne has also been trained in and participated in Critical Incident Stress Debriefings. Dr. Clayborne was an Assistant Professor at South Dakota State University for seven years.

Dr. Clayborne is a Nationally Certified Parent Coordinator and Nationally Certified Custody Evaluator (www.Academyregister.com). Dr. Clayborne has his doctorate degree in Counseling and Educational Psychology which he received in 1992 from The University of South Dakota. His passions lie in the ability to allow people to heal and move on through listening and understanding.
Dr. Clayborne has attended numerous trainings and workshops covering areas of mediations, parent coordinating, custody issues, abuse and neglect, personality disorders, domestic violence, battery, troubled juveniles, crises intervention, grief/loss, addiction and recovery to name a few. Providing his own training services and workshops regarding parenting education, childhood adolescent and/or adult pathologies including but not limited to OCD, ADHD, adjustment, anxiety, anger, family conflict, PTSD, oppositional, conduct, mood, abuse, phobias, and suicide to groups, schools and the business community has also allowed Dr. Clayborne to use his abilities and gifts to graciously and positively influence others in their world.
